Hypnosis for bad habits, fears and phobias and the rest!

Hypnosis can help kick bad habits and improve health and wellbeing

Some of the most common questions I get asked as a clinical hypnotherapist at a party are:

Can you make me lose weight?

Can you make me quit smoking and never do it again?

Can you fix my insomnia and make me sleep all night long?

Can you make me exercise?

Can you stop my anxiety?

Can you stop me chewing my nails?

Can you make me speak in front of people without losing it?

Can you make me eat more healthy foods?

Can you stop my addiction to chocolate / drugs / alcohol / red bull / popcorn? (yep.. popcorn)

Can you stop my eating disorder?

Can you fix my long covid / fibromyalgia / CFS / autoimmune condition?

Can you fix my Back Pain / Pelvic Pain / Migraines / Chronic Pain?

Can you fix my IBS? Gut Pain?

Can you fix my OCD / Claustrophobia / Agrophobia?

Can you fix my fear of flying / infections / Vomiting / Birds / Bee’s / Dogs?

Can you make me relax and not get so angry when things aren’t done?

Can you make me like socialising?

Can you make me like being alone?

Can you make me stop looking at my phone / social media / work emails?

Can a clinical Hypnotherapist do all that?

Well, Yes and no. We all come to every interaction we experience with our own values and beliefs.

Hypnotherapists offer an opportunity for change to be embraced and as Human’s trained in this specific tool we can only offer so much. It would be unethical to look at that list and say “Yes, Totally” because that just isn’t the absolute truth.

Clinical hypnotherapy is an incredible tool, don’t get me wrong!

But we are Humans.. working with Humans and that interaction can be successful and graceful when all the timing, motivations and courage result in the complete elevation of a habit / fear / emotion or sensation or improve a performance.
