CODE OF ETHICS
At Natural State Hypnosis, ethical integrity is the foundation of every therapeutic interaction.
As a Member of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA) and maintaining currency as a Non-Practising Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA, I uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, client safety and evidence-informed care.
My practice is guided by the AHA’s Code of Ethics, which includes principles of confidentiality, informed consent, cultural sensitivity, and client autonomy. I also honour the ethical frameworks embedded in nursing practice—respect for human dignity, non-maleficence and trauma-informed care.
As a Non-Practising Registered Nurse with AHPRA, I continue to uphold the ethical standards and professional values of the nursing profession. While I no longer provide regulated clinical care, I remain committed to the principles outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia including respect, cultural safety, informed consent and evidence-informed practice.
This dual foundation allows me to offer hypnotherapy that is not only emotionally attuned and spiritually grounded but also clinically responsible and legally compliant. Every session is delivered with compassion, clarity and a deep respect for your lived experience.
